Preventative Maintenance is the key to long lasting and well-kept equipment. It minimizes the potential failures occurring during operation and reduces the life cycle cost of the equipment.
We understand the importance of preventative maintenance in hotels. Our intelligent guestroom checklists and equipment planned maintenance modules allow for thorough, regular inspections, ensuring a premium guest experience. Our planned work module makes managing maintenance work a breeze.
To achieve these goals, you may set up and manage preventive maintenance jobs in the system. Summary of Steps:
1 Edit the system predefined routines or create custom routines for your assets
2 Initialize routines by linking routines to assets and entering the next due dates
3 Run Planned Work Schedules & Calendar to predict when the routines will be due
Please see the sections below for more information on each step.
Edit/Create Routines
The system comes with a number of predefined routines that cover a range of regular maintenance activities for a variety of equipment in hotels. If a routine doesn't quite fit your organization's schedule or requirements you can create your own custom routine.
Initialize routines
Once you have the routines prepared, you can initialize them to allow the system to check the date the next time the routine is due to be done. When each job is due, you can have the system automatically raise a work order to remind you and complete it.
Initialize routines is a process to link assets to routines and enter the next due date, which is the start date to perform the routine.
There are two areas in the system where you can initialize the routines: Asset List or Routine List. The main difference between these two options is the order of the procedure. It is best to use the Asset List if you want to set up a single asset and the routine is nested. On the other hand, it is best to use the Routine List if you want to set up a group of assets and the routine is not nested.
Nest routines
Nesting is linking two (or more) routines together so the correct routine is raised into a work order. So it is applicable only when your asset is linked to two (more) routines.
Predict when routines are due
After initiating routines, there are two areas in the system where you can double check and predict when PM routines will be due: Planned Work Calendar or the report "Planned Work Schedules".
