Energy - failed to send monthly energy data

Energy - failed to send monthly energy data?

If your energy data fails to send, There will be mainly three kinds of issues.

      1. File export path not defined properly.

As said, need to open the following path in the system and then enter a location where the copy of the energy the file needs to save. This ensures that the file is correctly exported and can be accessed when needed.

      2. Sometimes encounter the budget not submitting an issue. When seeing that issue first need to check whether the budget file has been sent from the system. If it is sent successfully budget will be locked as below.


3. When submitting data, the following message appears, indicating that the data submission is unsuccessful.

The solutions are as follows:

To solve this problem permanently, please update the email password of the SMTP setting in here.

Open ESCAP > Setup > Select from Table, Message Protocol > Protocol ID 7 click Next, until you see Email SMTP

Temporally based, you can find the energy data file in the path specified in the message box and send it manually to  escapdataap@ihg.com . In this way, data can be submitted successfully.

Note: Attach one q2y energy file ONLY for each email

      The email with multiple attachments will fail data submission. Refrain from attaching any other documents including footers.  

You will receive auto reply as below if data is submitted successfully via email.
