Escap on premise -How to create yearly budget

Introduction

Each year, around October or November, you can prepare the next year’s budget for the hotel. 

The Yearly Budget contains both Operational and Financial information. You may need to get some of this information from your Finance/Accounts Department.

The steps are as follows:


1. Log in to the ESCAP system and open the yearly budget page (Month and Year->Yearly Budge).



2. Select the year at the top and Click Yes to open the budget table.



3. Complete the budget spreadsheet and click "save" at last. Click "send to group" to send the budget to the group.

Note:

  1. Make sure the exchange rate is correct. (You must have received an updated budget exchange rate from the ESCAP Portal before making the budget).
  2. Switch between Hotel Information and Budget tabs and make sure the values are correct.
  3. You do NOT need to complete and submit your entire budget in 1 session. You can save
  4. your progress and open the Yearly Budget page to key in more values at a later stage.
