An Overview on How to Action Planned Work Orders

Preventative Maintenance is the key to long-lasting and well-kept equipment. Once set up with all the right information, the planned work module will automatically generate work orders to remind you when your Preventative Maintenance routines are due to be done. There are different areas in the system where you can perform various actions on the planned work orders. They are available and have the same interface on both desktop and mobile versions.

Planned Work Orders

With the planned work orders page, users can have full management of planned work orders from a single page. It has the following overall functions. They are designed to elevate your daily operations on planned work.

Multiple Action


With the multiple action function, users are able to complete or cancel multiple planned work orders at once including guest room maintenance and equipment maintenance. It saves your time and improves the efficiency significantly.






Planned Work Calendar


The work calendar has three views: Yearly, Monthly, and Daily. Each view provides different information and allows for various actions to be performed. It is very useful for the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager as they predict when routines will be due. This helps you to organize the required manpower, materials and contractors as the Calendar will highlight heavy periods and lighter periods of planned maintenance work.

On both monthly and daily views, you can:
  1. Identify job status
  2. Reschedule
  3. Complete/update/ Cancel non-guest room maintenance jobs

Room View


"Room View" relates to planned maintenance activities specifically to guest rooms or apartments. It displays all the rooms on a single screen so you can easily view and action on maintenance jobs assigned to each room. It is an ideal place to manage maintenance work orders on a room-by-room basis.
