V19 Setup Menu in Detail

V19 Setup Menu in Detail

All configuration and setup pages (other than planned work routines) are now centralized into a single page, making it easier to find the area you want.

Common areas like Users, Employees, Contractors and Suppliers are immediately available in the menu on the left.

These configuration pages, and all other pages are now available in a single “All Setup Pages” new page.

Features

  1. Search feature, for example, enter “user” to find the Users page.
  2. Setup areas are categorized into their respective areas, for example, all Asset setup is together
  3. A brief description has been added so you can quickly understand what this means
  4. The total number of records and number of “in use” records is easily seen.
  5. There is improved flexibility to create your own records in some pages (see below).

What do the numbers mean?

Next to each item, there are 2 numbers.  In most cases, the numbers mean the number of ‘in use’ records and the total number of records.  In the example below, there are a total of 15 department records and 14 departments are set as ‘in use’ = yes.

Why does the same item appear multiple times?

If the item relates to more than 1 area of the system, it may appear multiple times on the Setup page.  For example, Priority is available in both Work Requests and Planned Work, so it is listed in both areas.
